This hard-wearing, but soft, fleece-lined heavyweight hooded sweatshirt will keep the cold out and the warmth in year after year.
The Katahdin Iron Works operated in the north woods for much of the 19th century, employing thousands of hardworking Mainers. Inspired by their grit and strength, we designed our Katahdin Iron Works line of rugged work clothes to stand up to all kinds of rough use.
- 100% polyester fleece lining; sleeves are lined with 100% polyester taffeta.
- 91% cotton, 9% polyester.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Taffeta-lined sleeves for easy on/off.
- Triple-needle stitching adds durability.
- Body is lined with soft berber fleece for extra warmth and comfort.
- Locker loop.
- Zip front.
- Ribbed trim at cuffs and hem.
- Front pockets, one with interior security pocket.
- Underarm gussets for added mobility.
- Specially-designed hood fits well even over a baseball cap.

Katharine Hoodie is Great
True to size, thick, soft, cleans up well, no shrinkage. Good ttough cuffs. Pretty windproof. I scotchguarded it so it repels light rain, snow. Makes a good layer under a larger heavier coat or rain shell. Decent, not great value.

This is my second one of this sweatshirt. Many years ago I bought this and it simply doesn’t wear out. I wear it most of the winter until it gets extremely cold. I just needed a bigger size as my belly has grown too much. This is probably the best made product sold be ll bean.
