Great in the boat-dry gear
Holds plenty of gear and can pack down nicely with the roll top. Keeps our gear dry on fishing trips in the boat! The shoulder straps are contoured for a nice comfortable fit. Front pocket holds our snacks for easy access.

Simple, Reasonably Reliable, Not Dissatisfied
I bought the bag for fishing trips in both salt and fresh water. I do a lot of wading and swam with the bag on my back many times (easily 40 - it actually acted as a flotation device). It annoyed me that there were no pockets in the bag, but I figure you know what you’re buying, and I can’t complain that it didn’t work. After about two years of very serious use it began to wear, and after getting fully submerged the seal would let a little water in. That said I don’t blame them and am considering buying another.

Fell apart after 3 years
I bought this bag for my son three years ago. He goes to nature school and is five years old. He used it 3-5 times a week. That being said, “used” to a five year old is walking to his classroom and hanging it on a hook, then the same when they leave. I can’t imagine this is from over use. I think this bag is pretty expensive to fall apart like this. My daughter, Same school, same situation has a different waterproof backpack that has held up perfectly fine.

Didn't see the value
For the price I expected higher quality. Material was thinner that other dry bags I have, shoulder straps seem flimsy. Returned.

Always dry, always convenient!
Used for two weeks in SW Alaska, over 450 miles in an open Jon boat. Lots of rain but never a leak. Also was great as a carry-on for flights. Bought it because it was used alongside another similar but larger(duffel size), from LLBean. It was purchased in ‘89 and has made many trips to AK. Never has torn or leaked. Quality products.

Wonderful daypck for watersports or foul wether
I bought this because it is perfect for canoeing. The outside mesh pocket is great for sunscreen and bug repellant.

Waterproof backpack and that’s all
Good looking but not very practical or functional as it doesn’t have any compartments or pockets.

Unimpressed
Unimpressive. It may do a good job keeping things dry, but it has zero structure and hangs floppily on your back like a shopping bag. The straps too are very thin and lacking in robustness. I returned the pack and sneakily LLBean reimbursed me with a gift card instead of repaying my original credit card. All in all, not a satisfying experience.
