The product is a good product for young, athletic or very trim older men. Not a great fit for a slightly pudgy, physically active 74 year old.

Close to $90 for 30% plastic?
Where is the 98% cotton 2% elastane composition fabric, which is more natural with just enough stretch? And why should one buy LL Bean at this inflated price, when there are more natural alternatives to this attempt at substitution of natural fiber for plastic?

Leather Patch Bleeds Everywhere
My husband bought a pair of these in coastal dune and after the first wash noticed the leather patch had bled off leaving an imprint mark elsewhere on the denim. Chalked it up to being a fluke and he ordered two more pairs cause he loves the fit. Lo and behold same thing happened, except it bled onto the jeans and some other family members’ clothes. The stain is proving impossible to get out and my husband now has money down the drain on three of these pants and an upset wife with some ruined clothes. This is a serious flaw that needs to be fixed llbean.

Beanflex Jean Classic Straightleg
Jeans are excellent standup material. Seams are doublestitch tight with no flaws. Purchased two pair to replace daily jeans. Fit is as advertised. Very comfortable and allows ample movement without difficulty.
