Rise is too long - saggy crotch
I'm moving away from EB clothes since they got bought by private equity and am giving LL Bean a try. I am 6'4" and 210 lbs.
I gave these a try since they came in a 36" inseam and hit my price point. I ordered these in size 37 x 36 and have worn them a few times.
Apparently I paid more attention to the length when trying them on rather than the overall fit because I always end up with a saggy crotch with these. I could pull them up and cinch the belt a little tighter, but then would have the "pants up to the armpits" look.
Comparing these to my EB jeans, The EB back rise is 18" and the front rise is 12". The LL Bean BeanFlex Classic Fit jeans have a back rise of 19" and front rise of 13". The leg openings are good on both: 15" for the EB and 16" for the BeanFlex.
I have since tried the BeanFlex Slim Fit Jeans in a 38 x 36. The rise on those is shorter than I would like (back rise 16", front rise 11", leg opening 14.5") and I worry about plumber crack when sitting. It would babe nice if LL Bean and a jean with a 36" inseam with an back rise of 17-18" and front rise around 12".
