Great workhorse of a coat for all kinds of weather
A few years ago I purchased this workhorse of a coat in black and am not happy about how flattened out the quilting became over time. Plus it has a few white feathers sticking through. I’ve been on a brown kick lately so purchased the cinder brown one but returned it right after as I wasn’t crazy over the dull colour. So that coupled with the kind of flat quilting the black one turned into made my decision easier. Having said that I’m glad to have the black one for bad weather days that include rain and even snow as it is warm without being overly heavy.

Love this coat!
I am so happy that I bought this coat. It is perfect for walking the dog on chilly, wet, windy mornings. It feels light, comfortable and is truly water and wind resistant. The only thing that would make this coat better is a zippered inside pocket for things like keys, phone, glasses. Initially I purchased a size small because I am a solid 8 and certainly not a 10/12 (medium). I returned the small in exchange for the medium. I like the fit better.

Beautiful dress coat
This is a beautiful Spring coat, fitted, actually kind of “dressy”, not what I expected, but even better. I love the color (lilac) and it was a great deal (bonus!)

Great jacket but only two pockets!
This coat is very warm although it feels very thin. I got this for my pre-teen daughter to wear on the sidelines during youth soccer games. It blocks wind and provides ample protection from cold & rain. The two-way zippers are great to help her keep her legs moving if he needs to warm ups when required.
I only have this following recommendation for LL Bean. This is not a criticism but to further improve this product they need to add more pockets. There are just two hand warm pockets which are almost very tiny. So, you cannot even stick a pair of packaway gloves. I have similar men's jackets for myself which have at least 2 chest pockets and additional storage. I am surprised why they cannot provide the same provision to women's products while the purchase price is the same. Additional recommendation would be to provide a cell phone pocket where one can also accommodate an air tag for tracking if the jacket is misplaced. which girl does not carry a mobile phone these days?
