Be very Careful LL Bean's warranty worst in class
I bought this item 25 months ago and the zipper already broke. LL bean will do nothing about it and told me it was out of warranty and nothing they can do. I have been shopping at LL for over 50 years and just can't believe that they no longer stand behind their products.

Bought this to replace an old Bean carry-on but it is significantly SMALLER than the bag it was to replace.
Very, very disappointed as we already have the large Approach bag (which we bought to accommodate collapsible trekking poles) and I like the design..
Buying a second large Approach bag is out of the question because I am too short to carry it by the top strap should I ever have to carry it instead of rolling, such us for going up and down stairs -- and it would be too heavy for me lift.
Good thing my old bag is still usable.

Great Carry on Luggage That is Well Designed
This is great carry on luggage. I have only used it once but it is sturdy and well designed. When I tested it against a comparable well known brand name with nearly the exact same specs, this gag held more.

Packs a Lot
I've only used this once since I bought it earlier this summer. I took a 6-day trip and packed an assortment of clothes for different weather, hiking, dinner, and everyday wear. I did not pack shoes in the bag. This bag is also easy for one person to lift and transport.
