Oddly small
The sleeves are really short and it feels tight across the back and chest. For reference, I'm a size 34B - I thought the medium would really work but it's too small. The fabric is super soft though and I love the design.

my first cashmere sweater in my whole life and ???
I wanted a red sweater to wear to hockey games. I've never worn cashmere so I had some things to learn. First, I didn't know it could have static. Thought that natural materials like wool, cotton, bamboo didn't do static. So it was literally shocking to take it out of the plastic bag.
Second, the size and design of this are waaaay off. Listened to the reviews, and bought an XL when I usually wear M. And, the fit is still not great. I would never wear a sweater next to my skin, so I wore it over a bamboo undershirt. Even with just a thin undershirt, the arm holes are barely big enough at the armpit area. The sleeves are just the right length, but, the armpits are so borderline. And, it feels like the front of the neckline wants to creep up and choke me a little bit. It feels like this was designed for a cardboard cutout of a human woman not an actual one.
The good news: cashmere is soft and warmer than I expected for the weight. The fair isle design and color are beautiful. After one gentle wash and air dry, the static seems to be calmed down. I guess I will keep it.
