Pants are pretty good
Well made, attractive pants. Keep my legs plenty warm on cold Vermont morning walks. Inseam is too long though for the size. Would like to have a 30" choice instead of 32". Going down a size would make the waist too small. I handle the length by just rolling the pants up with a cuff.

Great pants that keeps you dry and warm
I worn this pants twice in the arctic during winter months chasing auroras in the middle of the night when it was way below zero and snowing like there was no tomorrow but this pants kept me warm and dry and not once I felt the cold (mind you I had a wool base layer underneath). I highly recommend it for winter activities.

Poor fit
These things just did not fit comfortably. I ordered 2 sizes and was unhappy with both fits.

Bibs with suspenders are better.
I think for downhill skiing, bib overall ski pants are a better choice, because one can keep them comfortably loose at the waist. I had not skied for about 10 years after a back surgery. After retirement I decided to get back into skiing, something I loved and did for 40 years.

Little Large in the waist
Purchased the recommended size and the pants were a little big in the waist. Nothing suspenders will not fix
