EXACTLY what I have been wanting!
I have been looking for a tall/medium warm raincoat for a long time. This jacket is exactly what I wanted. When it is 35-50 degrees and raining, a simple shell lacks the necessary warmth. A true winter coat proves too warm and bulky for these conditions. This jacket fills that gap.
The body and hood are fleece lined; the arms are insulated, but not with fleece. This design allows the coat to slip on/off easily while still offering warmth. The pockets are lined as well, so hands stay warm. I love the chest pocket for a cell phone. I love that LLBean offers things in the elusive tall/medium size…perfect for folks with long arms.
In short. I am thrilled with this jacket…great job LLBean!

Fleece Lined Rain Jacket
Twenty five years ago my mom gave me a Beans fleece lined rain jacket. It served me well in the northern climates where I have spent most of my life, keeping me dry and warm. The only flaw of the jacket was that the zippers were not sturdy enough. This year I bought a new one. Same quality product, ideal for living in the Great Lakes region. And the zippers are much sturdier. Great product!

Complete rain jacket
I wore this in heavy rain and stayed completely dry. It’s a perfect rain jacket because it keeps you warm with the inner fleece lining and keeps you dry. Quality made product. Would recommend.

Great jacket
The jacket is exactly what I wanted. It is replacing an LL Bean jacket I purchased 20 years ago and served me very well. I accidentally left it on the plane and I am so glad I was able to replace it. I plan to wear it for many years.

Fleece lined Jacket
Excellent warm jacket for winter and early spring. It’s completely wind proof and water proof as well! The fleece lining is ideal for insulation. Dries quickly and packs light!
