- Easy to clean -- vacuum, sweep or hose off.
- Crush-resistant waffle design, with thick and thin fibers for scraping dirt and containing water.
- Thickness/door clearance: 3/8".
- Rubber backing.
- Raised border helps contain water; can hold up to 1½ gallons of water per square yard.
- 24 oz. polyester fabric is made from at least 90% recycled polyester.

Best rug for exit/entrance area.
This mat is a vast improvement over the old rug we had by our patio entrance. I love that it lies nice and flat, does well with the snow and ice that my husband and dog bring in, and looks ver attractive.

I can't belive this 4x8 mat has been in my condo mudroom for 7 years! I live a ski resort in VT. This mat sees 6 months of sand and mud and 6 months of snow/mud. We have dog! It done it's job protecting the tile floor under it and a good job trapping sand, mud, and snow from people and pets before it gets tracked into the living area. My only 'complaint' is that the color faded dramatically within a couple years from dark green to an ash light faded green. It looks old despite still working well. I'm considering replacing it just to refresh the color but that also seems not environmentally friendly.. this thing will sit intact in a landfill for thousands of years.

Love my new rug
I bought this rug for my wood floor in front of the door that my 2 Australian Labradoodles to absorb water on rainy days. It is working out very well and I just ordered another one for my another door. I needed a rug to cover 4ftX4 feet and this rug came in that size. It is the only one I have ever found.

Quality area rug that handles heavy foot traffic
Very sturdy, well made area rug. Doesn’t slide around, stays in place. Absorbs dirt & water. I bought 3 different sizes. So far all 3 rugs are holding up. They are performing as advertised. No signs of wear, but have only had these a few weeks. Two I am using in a garage, & one on outside deck.

Waterhog Mat
Super happy that I purchased an extra large Waterhog mat for the front door! It stops water and debris from spreading through the house, which previously occurred even though we do not wear our shoes beyond the foyer. Navy blue is a nice look too.

Defective rug
Our rug was defective. It had a spot that looked like it had been melted. Really liked the rug and will try to order another one. Hopefully this one will be made right. Very disappointed for the price
