We've taken our rugged ripstop shorts to the next level of comfort with an ultrasoft feel, a touch of stretch and a soft-knit elastic waistband.
- In a durable ripstop blend of 98% cotton with 2% spandex for just the right amount of stretch.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Roll from 10" to 7" inseam and secure with twill roll tabs and snaps.
- Comfortable knit waistband with adjustable drawstring.
- Side pockets and two back patch pockets with snaps.
- Faux-fly front.

Great material, leg openings HUGE
I really like these shorts, the material is spot on and comfortable. It is hard to find shorts with a cotton blend that have some stretch and are light weight and cool for summer. These fit this criteria! However, for a size SM, the leg opening is HUGE. I understand one has to accomodate for varying shapes and figures, but I must have a 6 inch gap at the bottom hem and my legs look like toothpicks out of the bottom. I hope this will shrink down some with washing, but I might have to have them altered.

Very good quality!!
I bought this in a large, but when it came the shorts were way too big. Then I returned it for a small & now it fits perfect! The construction is great & I expect them to last a long time.

Comfortable and good-looking active shorts
Very pleased with these shorts. The 10-inch inseam length is flattering at my tall height. The details including pocket lining, waist band, both rear snap and front open pockets are appreciated. They washed well. I ordered the sage and beige colors - good alternatives to my standard black and navy. They fit true to size.

Good length not too short
I bought these shorts a month ago, so they have been washed. The fabric is great and wears like iron. Wished they came in petite as the legs are a little large on me. You can cuff up with the snap for a shorter look. I like these shorts and color is good

My favorite shorts
I love these shorts. They’re the perfect length for me (mid-thigh) when rolled up and the fabric is durable. There’s no pilling like some fabrics get. I have every color that’s sold.
Every Spring I check to see what new colors have been added so that I can get another pair or two. I’m disappointed that the color palette doesn’t offer much change. Please, LLBean, add some more color choices like black or white or teal, etc. It’s hard to justify getting more shorts when I already have the colors you offer yearly.
