These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

striped shirt under quality
I am so disappointed in this jacket! The side seam plaids do not match. Very disappointing to have that in an LLBean product. Also the zipper should release from the bottom - a two-way zipper.
I love the fabric and colors so I am keeping it, but it is not up to standard for LLBean. I expect more from you.

My most used pieces of clothing
I have three of these in different plaids. I could almost say I live in them because they are so versatile; a jacket for cool evenings in summer, perfect all day during spring and fall, and one of several layers I wear in winter. The somewhat loose style is great for comfort and layering and when it's chilly the hood is conveniently right there. Pockets are a good size and right where you need them. The LL Bean cotton flannel is super soft. These hoodies are by far my most used pieces of clothing.
