Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warmest coat I’ve ever owned! My husband bought me this coat for a gift this winter. I have lived in Massachusetts for 50 years and I’ve had many coats, but this is the warmest coat I’ve ever owned. The winters have been icy cold and I am nice and toasty when I wear this coat. If you really want a coat that does its job in the winter in New England, this is the one! The rust color is beautiful too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Jacket, Annoying Zipper My husband gifted me this jacket for Christmas, living in Massachusetts, its definitely the warmest jacket I've ever had. The zipper is annoying though, we almost returned it thinking it was a faulty zipper, but after awhile I noticed that if I pull the bottom of the jacket straight and JUST RIGHT, then the zipper came up easily. The second bottom zipper does get stuck on the internal side fabric though everytime for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this jacket With this Massachusetts winter being cold, snowy and windy, this coat is great! It took me awhile to decide to spend this much money but it's worth every penny. It's warm, the length is great and I love the hood, I use it constantly . It really is windproof, first jacket I've every had that truly shields me from the cold wind. I got the orange and love this colour. It is a heavy coat but I knew that upfront. The zipper on mine as well as the ones I tried on in the store is a bit finicky but if you start the zipper and give a little hitch up on the left side, it goes up smoothly. Highly recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bad zipper This is the greatest parka ever, if you can zip it! I had to button only to go out -10°

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Zipper is driving me crazy!!! This is perhaps the highest quality parka that I have ever owned! As I write this, it is -4 outside. I have a small farm, so it is imperative that I do my morning chores! This morning, I got so frustrated that I thought that's it, I'm calling them to complain!!! I couldn't zipper it up despite aligning everything perfectly! Probably about 15 times! I got so irritated because I paid so much money, for what??? to have my core exposed??????? I'm so unhappy about it. Finally I got it zippered. Almost tempted to leave it on so I could avoid the hassle again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Incredibly warm but that zipper… Needed a new parka for the worst of winter. As far as warmth and wind proof, this is an excellent parka. All the comments about the zipper, however, are not jokes. It’s pretty awful and almost always takes several attempts to work. I don’t think it’s cheap - it’s solid and heavy duty, it’s just bad at its job. And for how expensive this parka is, it’s embarrassingly bad. Also the pockets are weirdly low. But if you want to stay warm in -20 windchill, this parka absolutely does the job. Once you get it zipped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this parka! There have been many negative comments about the zipper and pockets. You just need to spend a moment to figure out how the zipper works.. then the jacket is great! I am short and the pockets are great.. the hidden zipper and the big pockets are perfect! Warm and comfortable! Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally warm!!! This coat is designed to keep you warm during moderate activity, anything more than that and you will be HOT. Walking the dog has been great. I've also tested it out through several Patriots games and the current cold blast we are dealing with. I am so happy with this purchase. I expect I will be using this coat for many years when its cold and windy. If you spend any time outside, this will keep you comfortable. Don't forget to TUCK the fur UNDER/INSIDE to make a wind shield for your head. It works so well and you won't need a hat. Several reviews commented on the zipper. Just make sure that the zipper is down all the way and it comes apart fine. For sizing, I believe they've cut this generously. I purchased an XL/Regular. I have 48in hips and that is likely the max with decent cold weather pants on. There is a lower zipper and snaps that allows you to open the coat from the bottom to sit down. I have large upper arms and there is plenty of room for medium weight layers which is all that is needed.
