The zipper is absolute garbage. I thought other reviews were exaggerating. You need pliers and a slide rule to get it started.

ZIPPER IS THE WORST!!
I bought this jacket years ago. I should have returned it. The zipper is impossible. I bought this jacket years ago and wish i could use it today. I GAVE UP. I see Ll Bean still didn't fixed it. Ll Bean no longer cares about their customers. Their products are junk now. I should have returned it. Only used about 3 times.

Love the coat Hate the zipper
The zipper is aweful. Hard to line up. It takes along time to zip it up.
If you know the zipper is bad, why do you keep putting make coats with it.

Amazing coat but the sleeves are a bit short I am 5’11” a tall women’s. Edison would be nice and the zipper is kind of difficult to close and it doesn’t go up.

Lot's of good features and very warm!
I purchased this a few weeks ago at my local L.L. Bean outlet store and the price was unbelievable. It was the only one on the rack and it was my size, so I had to buy it. I love a good down coat! It's very warm and I've been wearing it out in 20 degree weather! I like the adjustable strap on the back of the hood as well as the wrists and waist. The zipper can be a bit sticky but it seems to be loosening up a little. I am so glad that I made the investment in this!

The zipper is annoying.
Reading the reviews, I am in good company regarding the zipper.
Hopefully it will improve with time. A previous review said it did.
