It's rare to find a comfy slipper built this tough. The cozy fleece lining and super-soft cushioning alone make these the perfect choice for lounging around at home. But we didn't stop there. We added a water-resistant upper, a rugged Bean-Boot-inspired chain-tread outsole for superior traction and our classic triple-needle stitching for durability. Used to love these. Did they shrink?
3rd pair of these for me. Loved the first 2 and wore the tread off of them. I can’t get my foot into my new pair. Same size as the others.

Is the sole a different material?
Every 2 years I buy these for my husband for Christmas, or a birthday. This Christmas I got him the navy again. He has complained about the overly grippy sole since he got them. It stops him dead in his tracks and nearly makes him fall. Yesterday he did fall. He wants me to throw these $80 slippers into the garbage now.

Runs small.
Nicely made, wonderful fubber non-slip sole, but runs kind of short. Ordered a size 14, fite length wise like a 13.

LLBean Slippers Are Tried And True For Decades
After MANY years of use my awesome Moosehide slippers (I had two pairs - one that I had been using at home and then another newer one that I had bought to use in Japan on my Expat assignment over 10 years ago) finally wore through the pebbled rubber sole so I thought I would try this suede version with a more grippy sole. They are very comfortable and I would buy another pair in a heartbeat.
