Soft & Warm
The color is soft and warm, just right. I have been wearing LLB flannel pajamas for a long time and they remain my 'go-to.' But these feel a bit thinner. When I hold them up I can practically see through the fabric.

No way. Read this review LL bean
I bought these because I have a thrifted pajama shirt that was really nice quality from LL bean, from many years ago. The quality of this new set is not bad, but there are legitimate complaints and I will tell you about them. They unfortunately led me to returning this set immediately.
First off, the label says 100% cotton, and the material is nice quality but not thick as you would hope. Additionally, the inside lining of the button contains some strange non-cotton fabric that feels EXACTLY like the landscape fabric you would use in the dirt to stop weeds from growing. It is itchy and immediately caused discomfort while wearing this supposedly comfortable thing. It's definitely polyester to add rigidity to this segment of the clothing but wow what an awful way to implement it that is places a burden on the consumer.
Secondly, the shirt has 4 buttons. FOUR. Why on earth would they do this? All it accomplishes is making a gaping gap in case you wanted to show a little extra skin every time you are not standing up perfectly straight. I was wondering why this happened when I noticed that my lovely set from another company has 5 buttons. The minimum, I dare say. I want to be warm, not exposed to the cold air any time I move or relax in a way that this awful design doesn't agree with.
The pants are fine. The fit, I suppose is true to size but I think I would need to size up. I would have indeed sized up if it weren't for the quality control issue and what I see as a design flaw with the 4 buttons. Just not comfortable as is, so I will not be ordering another pair after this is returned.
