Made from premium stretch denim, with state-of-the-art S GENE® technology, the breakthrough fabric "remembers" its shape for superior retention. While the average recovery of other stretch denim is around 70% (leaving plenty of room for bagging and sagging), True Shape recovers 91% of its original shape (ensuring a great fit all day, every day). What Happened to Quality?
When I pay $80 for a pair of jeans I expect good quality. That isn't what I got in these because the fabric is thin and scratchy and the hems are done so poorly that they do not lay flat. The fabric and construction is disappointing.

Why the stripes on the front of the washed indigo?
I've been buying true shape jeans in washed indigo for many years. Now suddenly that color has horizontal stripes across the front. I hate them. I returned the jeans. Please bring back the solid color washed indigo!

Excellent, totally favorite Jeans!
I have been losing weight and needed a new pair of jeans. I bought one pair of these jeans (the larger size was the same type--just larger in size). As soon as I realized they were PERFECT in fit, I ordered three more pairs in other shades. They are my go-to jeans! While it is nice to lose weight, it is anxiety provoking to know what one needs to buy new jeans. I've found that LLBean has wonderful fit--and that dropping down a couple of sizes works well!

Good Jeans
The fit is excellent. The blue denim fabric is attractive (no silly, unflattering "whiskering" effects). The only thing I would change is the depth of the front pockets, which are really too shallow for practical use.
