Great Wardrobe Staple
I originally bought my usual size L from the catalog but they were too big and I had to return them. Luckily I was recently visiting out East and found a size M at a brick and mortar LLBean store. The pants fit perfectly and look quite polished. I think they could be dressed up or down depending on your needs. I am certain I will get a lot of use out of them. I think they will function well as three season pants.

Perfect Fit
These are as described and very comfortable. A little too wide in the leg. I prefer a straight up and down, but it is great that they are true to size. Now, if i could find a black denim pull on pant straight leg in my size, I'd be in heaven.

Comfortable, well-fitting, POCKETS!
I have been wearing L.L. Bean Perfect Fit Pants since 2013. At first, I wore the Boot Cut, but then discovered the Straight Leg had POCKETS! I usually order black, but have 1 pair of gray and 2 pair of navy. They fit very well, even on me, and I have inherited my mom's very full legs. I get the XL Petite, and can get away without hemming them if I wear thick-soled shoes. They are very comfortable for traveling, and I wear them to work under long tunics (I teach college, and the dress code is not formal at all). I gave these pants 4 stars instead of 5 because the black cotton jersey does fade a bit. However, I have re-dyed these black in the past with a good outcome. (Against the rules here to tell you which dye I used, but a mail order source, not a craft store.) And when I first started wearing them, they were the perfect length; now, they are a bit too long, but not so long that hemming is worth the work. But I will buy these again, when I am able. SO comfortable: stretchy, yet the fabric is thick, so if you don't buy a size too small, they are very modest. You really could wear these to yoga classes!

Way Too Long!
While I was pleasantly surprised at how nice these pants fit ( with one major exception) and also the nice feel and drape of the fabric, the pants were several inches longer at the inseam than described. I measured both legs and neither was anywhere close to the described 30” inseam. I have bought dozens of pairs of pants from LLBean over the years, and this was the first time there was such a problem.At this price point, it simply isn’t worth paying a tailor to hem them up several inches!
