I really wanted to like this.....
I was excited to receive this jacket. I love the clover color, and that it is fleece-lined. I like and dislike the velcro closures over the zipper. It is great when it is closed, but even though I was careful, I caught my shirt on the velcro. The fit of the jacket was great, for the most part, but not everywhere- at least for me. I tried it on with a second layer and it was just too tight in the upper arms to shoulder area. I tried it on with a light weight shirt with the same results. I think a larger size would be much too large for me and so I am sadly returning the jacket.

Warm & Dry
This is the raincoat I have been waiting for from LL Bean.
Waterproof and nicely lined to keep me warm and dry.
The 2 zipper pockets are awesome.
It also has a chest pocket with zipper to keep my phone handy and dry.

Need better cuffs on sleeves
Overall this is a nice jacket however the sleeves need some elastic at the cuff with the Velcro. Putting the jacket on and off is difficult with the Velcro and no stretch. Also a little more room in the upper arm would be perfect.

Great jacket
Purchased this jacket for a trip to Ireland in March. The waterproof definitely came in handy and the jacket dried quickly. I was able to pack it away in my backpack when the weather got warm. I would highly recommend this jacket.

I have returned this jacket twice. I normally where an XL. when I got the jacket it fit OK but could not have gotten an extra layer under it. It would have been too tight accross the breast area. Returned for an 1X same thing too tight across the breast area and no room for an extra layer. I am hoping the 2X will fit, if not will send it back and find something else. Lately LLBean sizing has been all over the place. Have never worn a 2X in my life. Its not that I real big accross the breast area but something is not right.

Velcro on storm flap
I was very excited to get this jacket as it appeared to be what I was looking for. However, upon receiving it, I discovered there was hook and loop (Velcro) on the storm flap along the entire length of the zipper. Hard no for me for many reasons. For one, the storm flap keeps trying to close when you are opening it. So, once you undo one velcro others "catch" again. It is a race to try and get the flap open and into the jacket. Velcro also picks up lint, strings, hair, you name it. I really dislike this stuff as you can tell. I wish LLB would go back to snaps or just zipper is fine with me. Otherwise this jacket is nice, but I sent it back.

Awesome product for women and men
I bought one for me a couple of years ago and was delighted when I saw it again! I have since purchased two for my daughter-in-law and one for my husband! So warm! Great windbreaker, hood and lining! Awesome product!
