This exclusive flannel shirt is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Excellent weight and fit
Love the shirt weight and fit. I bought it to be one of my "house shirts" that I wear almost daily. Since it is a "relaxed fit" I wear it untucked and find it e specially comfortable for all I do al day long. Of course, when warmer weather comes I will have to move to something lighter, but this shirt [I have 3 now] is worn from early fall through late spring.

Warm and soft
I bought it a month ago. I downsized as I do not like the baggy but other than that it is perfect and warm. Length is great for my height.

Unsure with product description
Not what I expected. Description said from Portugal. Tag says Sri Lanka. So okay…but softness not there. Wanted it as a shirt over a T-shirt when chilly but it’s sort of scratchy and stiff. Washed it as directed and hung to dry and it had shrunk slightly. Not meeting expectations with an LL Bean product.

Bizarre fit, good quality material
The fit really is a bit strange but the quality of the flannel and construction of the shirt is good. I’ve only worn it a few times so I can’t speak to how it holds up after multiple washes. It very short in the front so that I can just barely tuck it in—the back is somewhat longer. The fit is very boxy and not especially flattering for a small framed person. The chest pockets are not scaled down so they look outsized on the shirt front. I first ordered a petite small but it was much too large (wide) for me. The extra small fits somewhat better. The material is very warm in our cold winters so that’s why I’m keeping it.
