Not on par with previous polartec hooded jacket
I received this jacket and immediately put it on to go outside and test the warmth in low 30 degree weather. The quality is excellent as usual.
Unfortunately, this jacket doesn't have as much warmth as the LLB jacket I'm hoping to replace, and doesn't allow enough room in the very narrow sleeves and slim torso to add a layer. The elastic band cuffs and hood are a step down from the adjustable cuffs and hood on the older version as well. I'm not thrilled about the shiny polyester vs the old nylon either. I'm so disappointed that a really great jacket was discontinued and there's no equivalent replacing it. I'm hoping that there will be some better options for warm, synthetic winter jackets next fall.

Lightweight but warm
I bought this to have a light weight but warm jacket. To wear in the spring and/or fall. It’s perfect. Folds into pocket like a small pillow. I love it!

Lightweight but warm
Surprisingly lightweight but warm and waterproof. Comfortable in 40-50 degree rainy days but not bulky. I am 5', 110 lb and petite S fit well with sweater underneath.
