Love the jacket
It does make some noise when you move, but if you are in a rain storm you won't notice, but you will notice if your rain jacket allows water inside....which this jacket does not. This jacket keeps me dry. I love the orange color, it's lovely and helps my friends locate me. I have only worn it in one rainstorm, so I cannot speak to durability. The fit is a tad tight in the shoulders; I stuck with sizing up for maneuverability and ability to wear an underlayer.

Hoping it works out well.
I bought this to replace an ancient raincoat from LL Bean. The edges of the sleeves frayed. They are the same size but everything about this one is slightly smaller, the pockets aren't as generous, the zipper is fine. The fit is ok, but zippered it is just so. I tried a medium on and it was way too big so this is the right size. It is stiff and I hope that relaxes over time. But I tried many others and this is the best I found. I haven't worn it in heavy rain yet but I'm confident I'll stay dry.

Versatile Jacket
I bought this to replace a decade-old version when the zipper failed and could not be replaced. I wear this year round with layers as needed underneath. The waterproof quality is most appreciated. I hope when it's time for the next replacement the color selection will include some bright shades like my original aqua.

Appreciate the bright color
I bought this jacket to use as a winter shell over my insulated layers. I usually wear large but sized up to be sure there was ample room for puffy jackets underneath. It is a great length covering my hips.i mostly love the bright color. I spend time skating and sailing on ice and got the bright coral color for visibility and safety.

Disappointed
I was so excited to get this jacket as a gift. And, I was so disappointed when I received it. I have had what I thought was the same jaccket for many years. Although the newer model did not have a two-way zipper I decided to order it anyway and have a new zipper put in if I needed it. In my opinion the item is simply a $300 windbreaker - not a rain jacket (though it may be good in rain, I didn't wear it). The material was thin, the sleeves were way, way too long, there was no rain flap over the zipper and the jacker made a sound like crinkling aluminum foil. I returned it and am continuing to happily wear my old one, as shabby as it is.

Perfect Raingear
I love the fit and color, and there's nothing like Gor-tex to keep the rain off.

Poor design
I purchased this jacket because I walk my dog every morning, rain or shine, and I need a decent raincoat to keep me dry. I have had many other gore-tex jackets, and this one is very disappointing. It has no external storm flap in the front, and the internal flap (behind the zipper) is very narrow. Every time I walk in heavy rain, I find I am soaked along the entire line of the zipper. At first I thought the rain might be coming in at the top, but I have worn it a number of times and it is always the same. The entire zipper leaks water. I am very disappointed in this jacket.
