Love NO Velcro!
Incredibly lightweight so perfect for travel. I have had another heavier LLBean below the knee jacket but the Velcro drives me crazy. This coat has snaps in front and elastic at sleeves.

"I recently purchased a spring/summer raincoat for a friend, and she absolutely loves it. The fit, style, and comfort are perfect, and the blue color is exactly what she wanted. I’m always so impressed by the quality of everything I buy from L.L.Bean, whether in-store or online. Thank you!"

Lightweight, full coverage, gorgeous green
Love this lightweight raincoat and styling. I like roomier jackets, especially under the arms so I ordered 1X.
It’s so important to eliminate Velcro down the front of coats since it pulls and damages sweaters or knit tops. No Velcro on this coat since there are snaps. Great!
My only complaint is there is no way to tighten the cuffs with a tab and a snap. There is just elastic which is ok.
The hood adjustment is good but could use the tab design on back of hood to snug in the fit a little more.
I love the neutral light green, the light weight and the knee length.

Great raincoat with not so great hood
I really like this raincoat and as an avid international traveler I find it easy to pack and very waterproof. I have read where people complain it is so thin, but the technology is wonderful and it keeps me very dry. As well, I walk outdoors a lot and this is great for those walks. My one criticism is regarding the hood. It’s absolutely huge and it hangs forward and covers half my face so I need to turn the front edge up and roll it a couple times. An adjustable Velcro tab on the top back of this good would be a much needed and wonderful improvement and it would make the coat easier and more comfortable to wear. Other than that enormous hood I really like the raincoat.

For rain but not warmth
I like this coat, but it is definitely for rain and not for warmth. I thought it would be a little warmer for the cool spring days. I ordered a petite medium, and it was true to size.
