Great coat, not so great zipper!
I returned this coat. I purchased the same coat years ago, but the zipper started to get very temperamental. I bought this one a few weeks ago expecting to have it for years but this zipper was already a challenge to get “exactly right!”

The hood sometimes unzips and the pocket behind the front lower pocket could be slightly bigger to fit a phone.

Great warm coat, bad zipper!
I do love this coat over all… however, the 2 way zipper is horrible. I struggle everytime I put this coat on. I really think you should make that a feature you offer and dont put it on every one. I never understood the purpose anyway , and im a hiker!!! Makes it very tough to get zipped in a hurry. But the coat itself- is extremely warm and durable. Ive had it 3 years now, and its held up hike after hike.

the worst zipper ever made
the dog is barking to go outside before bed and poor mommy is trying desperately to get the zipper to work...after two minutes, i gave up and put on my old mountain hardwear coat that has always worked.. you guys need to ditch this coat and the cheap plastic zipper..

Like being wrapped in the most cozy blanket.
I love this coat!!! I’m so glad I bought it. It is so warm and perfect for these polar vortex days. Like I have read in other reviews here the zipper can be hard to start. But it seems to be getting a bit easier all the time.

Overall, I love the jacket.
I didn’t have problems with the zipper. The two sets of snaps on the hood should be the same to help adjust. The chess packets are my disappointment. The over flaps should be facing away from the wind towards your armpits to help protect your hands and make access easy. I don’t know why they changed that. It’s difficult to use those. They’re too close to your armpits.
