Too long
I bought these in petite medium and they were too loose but I really liked the style and feel otherwise, so I exchanged them for a petite samll pair which were longer than the mediums. I couldn't wait fir abitger excgabge (I was going away and wanted to bring them with me) so I shortened them myself. I've never before had a problem with petite length pants from LL Bean - sweats, jeans, etc.

Finally a good-looking sweat pant
Very flattering and comfortable. It's simple and very functional, with usable front and back pockets. 95% cotton but the knees do not sag after one wear. Hope LL Beans comes up with more colors. I ordered my usual size PS and it fits well.

Nothing like the sweatpants they replaced
LL Bean used to offer a really nice women's straight leg sweatpant called the 1912 Sweatpant. I have a pair that I bought in 2024 and wanted to get another pair this year. These are not those sweatpants and really shouldn't even be called sweats. The fabric is thin and cheap feeling. It's a shame when a quality item is replaced with something of lesser quality.

Not the same, poor quality
I have been buying these for years. And the latest pair is very thin and started to ball up after just a couple of washes. They don't even feel like they're a hundred percent cotton, feels like there's a little bit of polyester in there. It's not common that I'm unhappy with something from l.L bean. And the review is only being left, hoping that they will see this and the other reviews that are similar and bring back these pants the way they used to be for the last several years. Nobody's perfect, but ll bean is pretty close. Needless to say they were returned.
