Great in theory but not cut for outdoorsy women.
Ran small, not stretchy, not great if you want to sit or bend. Such a bummer.

Comfortable winter hiking pants
These pants are comfortable, have decent pockets, and plenty of room for winter weight long Johns under them. The zipped ankles facilitate pulling the legs past hiking boots

Warm Snowpants
I bought these near the end of winter and didn't think I would use them. We had a blizzard last weekend and they kept me warm while shoveling. I would recommend these. My normal size was loose enough to put them over my jeans.
