We've improved our most popular large rolling duffle, loved since 1996 for its durability, fun colors and great price. Now made of 100% recycled fabrics, with a U-shaped zipper that opens wider for easier access and an innovative folding design.
Introducing our best-ever Rolling Adventure Duffle, redesigned using customer feedback, product reviews and tests from our own in-house lab. We chose a rugged fabric that's 100% recycled--and just as strong as before. Next, we packed it with improvements, including a wider opening and a new folding design we created by customer request, making it easier to stow away when you're not using it. Available in sizes and colors for every member of the family!
- PFC/PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR).
- Coated interior for added weather protection; tested for 24 hours in our deep freeze with no signs of cracking, flaking or peeling.
- 100% recycled 600-denier polyester on body, with 100% recycled 1000-denier polyester on base that's twice as abrasion resistant for added durability.
- Fabrics are made from recycled plastic bottles; this 70L bag uses at least 39 plastic bottles.
- Waterproof fabrics. Zippers and seams not waterproof.

Roomy Bag!
I bought this bag over a month ago as we are planning a trip to Europe in the fell. The XL size we work out for most of planned cloths to pack but also leave room for any purchases while there. Wanted a duffle bag but wanted one a good pull handle with wheels.

Well-made duffel bag with wheels!
I bought the large duffel bag for a previous trip to South Africa in 2022, which served me well. Fast forward to now, I have back issues and decided I needed the large duffel bag with wheels to go back there in September. It fits everything I need to pack and will use it for other trips as well. No more carrying it on my back or holding it!!!

Lacking an essential feature in "large" size
SO DISAPPOINTED that this current model “large” Adventure Rolling Duffel does NOT have compression straps, unlike the larger sizes. I’ve used an old model of the LARGE Adventure duffel for many years, which DOES have those straps, and I find them essential.
Most of my travel is by air, so it’s important to stabilize the contents of the duffel, especially if it’s not packed to bulging at the seams. With straps, the duffel can be transformed into a smaller bag that has an expandable capacity. I rely on that. More structured luggage weighs more, which is a critical consideration for airplane travel.
Originally this time I purchased the “extra-large” size, trying to guess from measurements which size would come closest to my old duffels. However, when it arrived, it was simply too big for me to use. I returned it to a local Bean store, where the clerk suggested I trade it in for the next smaller size, which he had in stock, and I happily did so. It wasn’t until much later when I actually was planning a trip that I realized this new “large" one had no compression straps. I’ll keep this one for occasional car trips, but I continue to hunt for a suitable replacement for the older, better duffels, which are fraying after years of use.
Given that the price difference between the “extra-large” and the “large” is small, it seems grossly unfair that a truly useful feature has been dropped. I guess I’ll just have to use the old duffels I have (my husband and I have 4 between us) and hope that by the time they fall completely apart, I’ll be too old and decrepit to travel. Or Bean will have come to its senses.

Large 70 capacity and stands
I bought one for my preteen son size 70 large. I like it so much i bought discount color for myself. We do car trips. And these are light, sturdy and dont take up too much space when stored.

Nice bag but missing old features
