Do NOT buy!
Towel started fraying immediately after taking out of the packaging. Did not even get a chance to put it through a quality test, it just basically started falling apart. Ordered this for my cat Pebbles (with her name monogrammed on it) as a Christmas gift, as she and her 2 fur brothers love to lie on folded towels (their tankies). She did not even get a chance to put a single claw in it before it started fraying. She does not care, she still loves it, but it is principle. I expect better quality for a $39.00 towel from LLBean. Still keeping the towel, as I don't want to deal with the hassle of returning, and my fur girl does not care, however her Mom (me) does.

A special treat for a family trip
Big, soft, thick, cozy towels. We had each family member's name monogrammed on a towel. Treasured and practical souvenirs for a multi-generational family trip. The towels have been used for swimming, sunbathing, napping, and more. Still soft and beautiful.

Not worth the price
I purchased four of these beach towels different patterns, all have the same poor quality, multiple runs, hanging thread, poor construction. I expected more for a $40 beach towel and the LL Bean name.
