Durable nylon hiking shorts
Good quality nylon shorts that hold up very well. I have tried other brands but none have been as durable. Most other brands are made of cheap polyester or cotton that are are not abrasion resistant and look like pajamas. They're the perfect length. Just above the knee so you can easily run and hike with them. I've been buying this brand of shorts for more than a decade.

I do love these shorts. I have several pair. This time though I bought a pair of gray and black. The gray is fine but I’m disappointed in the black color. It is much closer to a charcoal gray that a pair of true black shorts.

Beware-the sizing has changed
I have lots of these shorts. The size of the current shorts I bought because I like the new color Blue Water were different than the many shorts I bought previously. I bought a size L and they were larger than the many previous shorts I bought.

Shorts fit well, look great, & are comfortable.
Finally, LL Bean got these shorts right again! The 6” inseam is just right, since the pockets don’t show when sitting, as the previous 5” inseam shorts did. I bought 4 pairs & expect to get many years if everyday wear. Also, the inner liner is ‘right sized’ for men’s wear. I had to remove liner on older shirts like this, because it was too restrictive. Well Done LL Bean! These are great men’s shorts!
