The worst jeans
This is the worst item that I have ever bought from LL Bean. The fabric is so heavy that, even in New England, I might be able to wear them in the winter but that would be it. The pants are supposedly 96% cotton but they were very, very stretchy. The fabric doesn’t feel like denim at all. The fit is very odd. The front part of the waistband comes to within an inch of my bra; it gives new meaning to high waisted. The black pants are a lint and pet hair magnet. These are going in the donation pile.
LL Bean - Please bring back all cotton jeans!

These pants do nothing if you have a drop belly please bring back the draw string ones I always brought 4 pair a year us people with a drop belly need a paper bag waist and then taper down don't you people understand

Cheap gathered elastic waistband ruins look
I've been buying these pants for 30 years, and the quality has been steadily declining. Now, they no longer come with a wide flat elastic waistband. Instead, they have a cheap, narrow elastic waistband that creates a huge, baggy belly to the pants. Looks like the cheapest "stretch" pants from the 60s! Certainly not worth $65. They'll be returned, and I'll never purchase them again.
