Bring back Riverton Model TC509472!
I bought these pants because LL Bean discontinued the ones I wanted and loved, after an ink pen in a pocket ruined one of those pairs.
While shopping for these, I read many reviews lamenting the discontinuation of Item TC509472, The Riverton Pant Standard, and now I agree even more strongly as these new pants are flimsy, tight in the crotch, and without the velcro back pockets that made the Riverton's so useful.
The fabric mix worked well in the Riverton's, these are too much cotton and shrink and wrinkle badly.

The grey pants have shrunk and the zipper is of poor quality. The color is not uniform either. This problem appears to be the often typical quality when foreign manufacturers are allowed to design the products.

Cargo Carrying Pants
This is my second round of pants of this type. Comfortable and don’t cut and bind at the waist. The fit is as advertised. They are durable and comfortable to wear all day. The colors are good, basic colors that match with many things in my wardrobe. It is nice to have the extra pockets as well

Unwelcome Change in pants, returned for refund
I thought it was a defect, 2 beltholes right on the outer seams missing. But no, it apparently was an unrecorded change to the order, making the pants now worthless. If LlBean does this to their 5”inseam tropicweight shorts, too, I will no longer have a reason to ever look at LLBean again.

Small belt loops
These pants will not take a 1.5” belt as described. The lips barely fit a 1” belt. The cargo pockets have some type of double flap, that makes it difficult to get a phone in and out of. Why aren’t cell phone sized side pockets more common on men’s pants?
