An L.L.Bean exclusive, our plush flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.

Surprised!
Extra Large is like carrying a blanket wrapped around your body. Hope it will shrink a whole bunch when washed in ultra-hot water!

Very stylish at the hospital
Love the color and how soft the fabric is. It's a lighter weight robe, but very comfortable. I bought it for a hospital stay and it provided good coverage over the typical sorry hospital gown. It definitely was a plus not having my moon shine while walking the corridor.

Unfortunately, the flannel robe is not as thick as we expected, not warm.
