Everything you could ever want in a vest
I can't wait for the cold weather just so I can wear this vest. The Upcountry Waxed Cotton Down Vest has everything one could possibly ask for in a vest. All the pockets you could possibly put on a vest and in all the right places including a surprise inner zip pocket (way to go Bean). Excellent feature. The fit and finish is top notch quality all the way. The double zipper is a tremendous feature and one that is seldom seen in this day and age but oh so practical. This is my second vest from Bean and definitely my favorite. I choose the "Loden" color. The pictures in the add do not do it justice. The Loden is actually a beautiful Deep Deep Forest Green and the lining is black. I am so happy with the color and glad it was chosen. If you are in the market for a stylish, well made practical vest, then look no further the Upcontry vest is without question the one to choose.

Excellent!
I hate driving during the winter with a bulky coat as a coat restricts my arm movement. This vest is the perfect solution. It keeps me warm AND I can steer with no restriction. Excellent choice. Oh, did I saw that it really keeps me warm? Highly recommended.

Care for Waxed Cotton
To Sean H. In Calumet: The vast majority of true waxed cotton garments are not washable. Wiping them down and re-waxing them is how you care for them. I have several waxed cotton garments that I have owned for years and they have not to absorbed odors, as the wax creates a protective barrier. If you wash it, you will most likely
ruin it. It’s not LL Bean’s fault. You didn’t do your research before making the purchase.
