Too bad they cannot support my phone
A phone in your pocket when you are out walking is the norm. Why aren't these pants equipped with a cargo pocket big enough for a phone? I have 3 pairs of the long vista camp pants and 3 pairs of the cropped pants. I have worn them for a few years now. They have all become too big because I have lost weight. I have been wearing them for this Summer and figure I will get new ones next Spring maybe.... I have tried to cinch up the waist ties but they are very stretchy and don't do much to hold up the pants. If they have a larger cargo pocket next year I will buy them. If not, NOT. I do love how cool they keep my legs when it is hot. Way better than if I were to wear tight shorts. I also should not have to tell you my age in order to do a review. So I lie!

Fits well but doesn't last
I bought a pair Apr 2025, loved the fit and comfort, BUT after 2-3 months, the material by the pockets frayed and pilled. I finally had to throw it away. Feb 2026, I decided to order another pair, and again, love the fit and comfort, but after 6 months of wear, it is also fraying and material is pilling in area by front pockets. VERY disappointed and will not order this again. Asking LLBean to review the supplier's material. I washed it in cold water and never put it in the dryer.

Camp pants
I love these pants. Great for outdoor work, decent at keeping my legs cool even when it’s hot. They will sag if the pockets are full and the waist isn’t tight enough but I’ve learned to adjust the waist tie as I put heavy things (ie my phone) into the pockets. Second time buying the pants
