Perfect summer pants
Fit perfectly right out of the box. Lightweight, comfortable, coordinates well with LLBean tops.
Suggest that side pants pocket is 2” longer to fit my cell phone, otherwise a winner.

I have all colors in this hiking pant and love them all. I wore them on my trips to Switzerland and Costa Rica and they were great. If they get wet they dry quickly and they are cool to wear.

They fit great but they let me down
I bought these a few years ago and have worn them a lot. Nothing different from any other Bean purchase. Except that these fell short of my expectations. Early on, they started pilling. No big deal, more of an aesthetic than functional issue.
I took them to Europe and wore them a lot on our tour. Sadly, the leg ties tore loose halfway thorough the trip. Since I only had two pair of pants with me, I rigged up the other end of the tie and just looped it around my ankle. That worked, but I had to untie it to get my pants off at the end of the day.
I have high expectations of all clothes I buy from LL Bean and I'm still wearing items I purchased in the 90s. These really fell short of my expectations and left me in a bit of a bind on my trip.

Great except for the knee seam
This is second pair of Vista Camp pants. I love them for hiking and everyday errands. My one issue is the seam on the mid leg lands directly at the knee not above. I’m not a short woman. If I am not careful to pull up the legs when I sit, the threads at the knee break from the tension. My other pair is 3 years old and has held up well aside from the knee issue.

Vista cargo pants
This is my 3rd pair of these pants. They are very versatile warm-weather pants that I have worn for hiking and travel. They are also my go-to yoga pants. I took 2 pairs on a 12-day trip to France and they were perfect--they pack very small and come out unwrinkled; they are super comfortable, and dry quickly. The pockets either zip or button (The buttons are just fussy enough that I didn't worry about pickpockets.) The only downside is that there is no pocket deep enough for a cellphone.
