Please offer this in size XS!
This is an excellent parka that survives the rough Maine winters. My husband had his for 11 years before needing replacement this year. His previous one was worn out with some zipper issues, but we are happy with the 11 years of use. His new one is just as we expected- we love the all navy option!
Please please offer this jacket in xs. Traditionally, the Rugged Ridge Parkas (mens and womens) run 1 size larger than other clothing. My husband is a men's Large for all shirts/jackets, but is a Medium in this parka. That is ok because we expect that and order medium, but it means that an entire population of men who are size Small can't have this jacket because XS does not exist. I even would want one as a woman (longer sleeves, better coverage, etc.) but the small is too large for me. Please consider adding this sizing option!

Back to the Future ...
So after much internal hemming and hawing over which winter coat to get, I ended up with the Rugged Ridge Parka. I'm embarrassed to say I didn't even realize this is exactly the same as my previous coat, which tore along a seam last winter. (I got quite a lot of wear out of it; no complaints.) This one seems nice, but one thing I noticed is that it is less padded than my previous one, which was definitely a bit "puffier." Now this may not mean it's any less warm -- maybe the technology has improved -- but it is noticeable. Unfortunately, I can't really test out its utility in the middle of June, so I will have to wait. But it's still rated by LLBean as among the warmest, so I suspect it'll be fine.
