Comfortable but unflattering cut on pockets
These were super comfortable. However, the pocket material stuck out which brought attention to my hips, which I didn’t like.

These really are perfect....
I just recently discovered these, though I have worn the full-length Perfect Fit straight leg pants for years. I am 5'4" and normally wear the short inseam in my Bean pants, but ordered these in regular and they are perfect just-above-the-ankle pants which was exactly what I was hoping for. They have deep enough pockets, and the knit fabric is quality, like all the Perfect Fit line of pants. Now, LLBean, if you are listening -- DO THEM IN DENIM.

I would like to see more colors like forest green, darkest grey, deep purple and darkest red.

Poor Quality Material
I put these on for the first time, and sat on the sofa for a few minutes (2-3) only to see that the knees were already bagged out. This has also happened with the full length version of these pants, which I need to send back as well. If these were made of a higher quality material/fabric, they'd be close to perfect as they have a flattering cut before they bag out. Also this crop version has pockets which are shallow and useless. I wanted to love these.

Things have changed
I have purchased these for 10+ years. I have not been happy with my recent purchases as the quality seems to have changed. Seams have come apart and the material is showing wear much earlier than normal.
