Consistent quality control problem
Bean seems to be having a quality control problem with these. The side seams are consistently miscut or mis-sewn. This makes the pocket edges stick out weirdly on one pair and creates an extra little flange next to the pockets on another pair. A third pair I tried had one back leg somehow mis-sewn so that the fabric hung in folds. I've ordered these for years previously and they've been fine. The problem may or may not be just with the black ones. I hope Bean fixes their problem so I can keep buying. With out this problem, my rating would be a 3 because these pants need REAL pockets as on the original style.

The Best Feature are the pockets.
I am very disappointed with these capri pants. They
are not the knit material of other capri’s or ankle pants
that I have purchased over the years. They are really
to large and were extremely wrinkled coming out of
the package. I should have returned them, but opted
to keep them.

Great travel pants
Better than expected in workmanship, weight and feel of the fabric. I originally bought petite M, which fit comfortably but seemed too baggy around the hips and thighs. So I ordered the petite S and it fits nicely, hangs perfectly. Washes fine, no ironing needed. Perfect travel pants. I ordered two additional pairs of the Petite S. I’m 5’3”, 130lbs.
