Perfect sweater
Not my first of these sweaters, although this one was purchased one size down (large) so I could wear it as a shell under a black suit jacket for a memorial service. I'm a size 18 or 20, depending on the brand, and all my other sweaters of this kind are sized XL. But in this case, I knew I'd be outdoors a lot in the Maine February cold, and wanted something stylish yet practical. If you want a beautiful, simple and stylish cashmere sweater, this is the one.
Does it pill - after a year or so of repeated use - of course. But you prevent it by having it washed at a good dry cleaner, and once it starts showing some pilling, get one of those little battery-operated gizmos that shave off the pills, and your sweater looks good as new again.

Love LL Bean cashmere!
This is my second cashmere sweater from L.L.Bean. I absolutely love the softness, the warmth and how good these high quality cashmere sweaters look and feel on. I highly recommend Bean’s cashmere and I certainly will be buying more in the future.
