pretty - but not for long
This pretty green sweater is very soft and fits well, but after wearing it just a few times, it started to pill and already looks old. Very disappointing.

Quality Hit or Miss
I bought 5 of these over the course of this winter in different colors: grey heather, tan heather, two shades of blue and the teal. The first two were soft and stunning; I kept them. The last 3 were clearly sourced differently for the cashmere as they were very scratchy. Those three got returned. They were pretty, but I could not wear them. The two I did keep were perfect for the frigid winter we had this year in upstate New York. I purposely got a much bigger size than normal so i could layer under.

The quality and fit (MT) looked good but I returned it because the color was very different from the photo. It had flecks as in Donegal tweed, but flecks do not belong in cashmere, but rather in more rustic knits. It was quite jarring. And the gold was not as bright as in the photo, but rather was a mustard, muddy gold.

Super soft sweater !
Bought this last month and very happy with it. Super soft, cozy and warm. Feels great on skin. Washes well - cold water gentle and lay flat to dry.

Nice Sweater; wrong size.
I bought this as a Valentine's day gift for my wife. It was mismarked and instead of an Xlarge, it was a large. It was too small for her. I returned it for a full refund as soon as I could. the refund has occurred just as L L Bean said it would.
