Quality has gone downhill
I’ve been buying these dresses from LLBean for years - they’ve been a wardrobe staple. I ordered three styles and in all of them, the fabric is so flimsy it’s nearly transparent and lies limply across the body. I’m afraid I’ll be returning all of them and hope LLBean will go back to offering quality, even if at a higher cost.

Love these dresses, black is thinner
I have several of these dresses, and love them all. This year's offerings are inconsistently sized-- various colors run larger or smaller. This black version uses material which is thinner and slipperier--it was noticeably harder to sew the V-neck shorter, as I've done on all these dresses. I took my usual size in this one.

Tooo much cleavage on display
I think I have six of these dresses plus one that is sleeveless (my favorite, discontinued ☹). They are very comfortable, wash well and have held up well over the years. I have always had to pin the front because of the surplice style, but this latest edition is quite a bit smaller in the bodice. I will keep it and make it work. I purchased the same dress for my daugter( she also owns several) and she has the same problem with this one. I wonder why the change? Anyway, please bring back the sleeveless iteration!
