Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expensive Disappointment I have bought this pillow twice before from L.L. Bean. I thought I was getting the same thing, but it's quite different. The cover is very stiff and the corners and binding are uncomfortable to put your face against. The pillow is not at all soft and almost seems overstuffed, which makes it much higher than I'm used to. Overall, it was uncomfortable to sleep on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How to wash … Wash in cold water in front loading washer. DO NOT USE FABRIC SOFTENER OR IT PILLOWS WILL GO FLAT AND NOT FLUFF BACK UP! Dry in front loading dryer on low temp with 3 tennis balls. Please note … with each wash, even if done correctly, they lose a little fluff ability and firmness. Take good care of them and wait as long as possible to wash. My first set lasted 10 years, My second set 8 years in and still in excellent condition. (King Firm) My king mediums are 18 years old and in excellent shape (not the primary sleep pillows). They provide excellent comfort, cause no neck or back pain, and a great nights sleep. That being said, it does take a little “break in” time. It may take a week or two for brand new pillows and just washed pillows to soften for optimal comfort. A wise purchase that ensures …

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My husband likes his new pillow but This pillow was a gift from my husband. He says it is comfortable. The pillow has no odor, is attractive, and fits nicely in the LL Bean pillow protector I bought to go with it. The width of the pillow is the same width as the Bean pillowcases we usually use, though, so our usual pillowcases are too tight around this pillow. We put an old, larger non-Bean pillowcase that I got from my grandmother on the pillow. Now the pillow can move and relax some when my husband rests his head on it. Although this is a nice pillow, when I need a new pillow, I'll look for a smaller one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from At Last! I sleep on my side, back, front and needed a new pillow. I tried another company's "adjustable" pillow and it just didn't work for me. Decided to try Bean's down pillow. There was a bit of a wait, but it was completely worth the wait. Just had the best night's sleep that I've had in a very long time. Great pillow and for me it is totally worth the price. I look forward to years of peaceful sleep with this pillow,
