Velcro doesn't extend far enough for narrow feet
I really have the striking teal and black version of these sandals, which I don't see anymore, and I absolutely love the color and functionality of the sandals overall. The problem is that the straps are designed for people with wider feet, so for me, if I pull them snugly around my foot, the velcro straps hang way out in an unattractive way. If the "loop" (fuzzy) part of the velcro on the shoe just extended out a bit further, the "hook" (spiky) part would stay put over the curve of my toes, resulting in the clean contours that you see in the website photos. I thought about trimming the straps, but then they won't be nicely finished anymore.
Ultimately, I decided that this cosmetic flaw didn't outweigh the excellent functionality of the sandals, so I kept them, an they've been my solid companion for two summers now. However, the problem has kept me from purchasing a second pair.

Not for a Narrow Foot
Although I’ve found these sandals comfortable, it was only after some alterations to the fit. The Velcro on the sandal does not allow you to adjust the width for narrow feet like mine. I had to add sticky back Velcro to them in order to anchor the strap ends so they didn’t look like flapping wings. I wish more shoe manufacturers would realize we all don’t have medium width feet.
