Poor stitching
The big bath towel and the regular sized towel have become so frayed from the stitching coming loose that they are unusable. So disappointing especially for what I paid for them.

Best Bath Towels... Period
We have purchased 2 full sets of LL Bean bath towels - in 25 years.
These are hands down, the best Bath towels we have ever experienced. You will read lots of marketing by retailers about "best hotel towels, best Bath towels etc etc" but not from LL Bean. They market these as good bath towels. And that's an understatement - these are worth every dollar and the monogram just adds to the special quality of these towels.
2 sets. 25 years. Used EVERY day by a family of 4.
I wish I could write this sort of praise for more things but there you have it. LL Bean bath towels - The Best.

Disappointed
After 6 months, 6 washings ( I have other towels too) wiping my face on these towels is like wiping it on paper. I have never had this happen before with any towel. Washed and dried according to directions. Very disappointing from a brand that is supposed to be superior.
