This exclusive flannel shirt is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Inconsistent sizing.
Bought a petite small flannel shirt a year or so ago, great fit. Measures 15.5” shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Bought a petite small this year 19.5” shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Like the color so will have it tailored to fit. If I can’t trust the sizing may not buy from L.L. Bean again.
