Our classic casual coat is easy to move in and layer under. With little touches like inverted pleats and buttoned patch pockets it's no surprise this coat continues to be a customer favorite, year after year. Inspired by our iconic Field Coat (originally named Maine Duck Hunting Coat), first introduced in 1924.

Love this coat - from the moment it arrived and I washed it, I've worn it almost every day. It's warm but not too warm, generously sized, and feels like it's going to last forever. Favorite feature might be the pockets. The side slash pockets are my go-to for hands, and are lined with the fleece. The big patch pockets hold everything my kids hand me, including a water bottle on one occasion. Haha. Love love love this jacket! I would give it 10 stars if I could. :)

This is my fourth one
Let me state, I have never worn one out. But they gave all been well worn. I had two with prima loft and one with flannel. The pink/purple....did I need it? No. But...the color, comfortable, ease, versatility, usefulness.... I also want the orange field jacket. Someone, please, talk me down.
