Our classic casual coat is easy to move in and layer under. With little touches like inverted pleats and buttoned patch pockets it's no surprise this coat continues to be a customer favorite, year after year. Inspired by our iconic Field Coat (originally named Maine Duck Hunting Coat), first introduced in 1924.

Perfect for fall weather
Love this coat for fall before it gets too cold in the Midwest. It's perfect for running quick errands or chilly mornings on my way to work. I'm somewhere between a M and L, I got the medium because of other reviews saying it ran a little large, and I think I made a good choice. I can still wear a somewhat bulky sweater underneath. I like that it hits below my hips, and the lining makes it feel cozy but not heavy. I usually roll up the sleeves because they feel a little long and bulky by my wrists, but the lining on the cuffs keeps it in place. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an autumn coat.

Washed Orchid Jacket
Gorgeous color. Ordered Petite Medium by the size chart. Fit is very room and will accommodate a very bulky sweater easily. Sleeves are a bit long for petite sizing. Finally replacing my 40+ year old Barn Coat which is still wearable but is fraying at the sleeves.
