Handcrafted in Brunswick, Maine, one at a time, this coastal spin on our iconic canvas tote features everyone's favorite crustacean. This L.L.Bean exclusive gives every outing a splash of seaside style--no shelling or shoreline required.
Since 1944, we've been making our iconic Boat and Tote in Maine. The same way. Our only way. First introduced as "Bean's Ice Carrier," it's proudly stitched by a dedicated team from high-quality American cotton canvas, with a reinforced canvas bottom and rugged overlapped seams. When it's finished, you'll be able to tell it's an L.L.Bean original by the signature "V-point" detail on both sides. We make your tote one at a time here in Brunswick, Maine. Then it's your turn to make it your own.

This tote is the perfect size for a quick trip to the store, or a small project or, my favorite, browsing the farmer’s market. And the lobster on the front is adorable. Best of all, its made with the same durability and attention to detail that I expect from LL Bean.
