This exclusive flannel shirt is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Soft and good quality
The fact that this is a popover and has roomy sleeves makes it much more feminine than an ordinary flannel shirt. I have broad shoulders and long arms and it fits them nicely with room to move. I'd say it's slightly cropped but not so much that midrise pants would leave a gap. If you're between sizes, I'd advise sizing down unless you want to layer under it. It washed well with no shrinkage. Overall a good buy and I may go for another color.
