Soft fabric, long length but shrank after washing
The fabric is soft and not restraining. When I tried on the pants the first time, the leg length was dragging on the floor (I was not wearing shoes). I thought I might need to have them hemmed if they didn't shrink after washing. I washed the pants, tried them on, and the length was much better. Hopefully the pants won't continue to shrink after multiple washings.
The cargo pockets are large enough for a phone. But they do seem a bit lower on the leg than other pants I own. I greatly miss the ripstop version LL Bean used to sell.
